Bring the Bud Light “Dude” campaign to life in a banner ad.
Evoke a real “Dude!” moment by getting guys to click on ridiculous links. Plant these “landmines” on sites guys frequent disguised as actual ads.When they investigate something as ridiculous as these fake products and the Bud Light aspect is revealed, they become part of the campaign. Essentially, the “dude.”
We had to extend the Bud Light “Dude” ads into online. The agency didn’t want to just do flat, yet clever, banners. They wanted to see if we had any ideas. This idea jumped off the page. Bud Light was sold on it when they were sold to InBev. They never made it to production.
